Forged or counterfeit coin, etc., to be delivered to the Governor of the Central Bank of Belize

Where any– (a) forged or counterfeit current coin, or any machinery, implement, utensil or material used or intended to be used for the forging of current coin; or (b) forged or counterfeit currency note, or any machinery, implement, utensil or material used or intended to be used for the forging of is lawfully seized under a warrant granted in pursuance of this Code or otherwise, the current coin, currency notes, machinery, implement, utensil or material as the case may be, shall, notwithstanding anything to the contrary, be delivered up to the Managing Director of the Governor of the Central Bank of Belize or to any person authorized by him for the purpose, by order of the court before which the offender is tried or, if there is no trial, by order of a magistrate.
