Manslaughter

(1) Every person who commits manslaughter– (a) by negligence shall be liable to imprisonment for five years; (b) by any other cause shall be liable to imprisonment for life. (2) Every person who causes the death of another by any careless conduct not amounting to negligence, as defined in this Code, commits an offence and is liable to imprisonment for two years. 87
