Provisions for future change of titles

Whenever the Governor-General considers it necessary to change the title of any public officer, he shall cause a notice to that effect to be published in the Gazette setting out the former title and the substituted title of such officer, and thereupon the substituted title shall replace the former title wherever the former appears in any law in force or in any deed or other instrument made or issued pursuant to or consequent upon such law. 36
